News Release

OpenGnSys (pronounced OpenGenesis) developed by University of Seville, Málaga, Zaragoza, Huelva and Autónoma of Barcelona, it has been named a finalist for the open design contest organized by the Linux Magazine and we will have a stand at the CeBIT Fair from March 6 to 10 in Hanover, Germany.

Presence of OpenGnSys in this fair is a great international renown for this project and the universities which collaborate in its development. CeBIT Fair 2012 is a global exhibition of new technologies and European benchmark in its sector. It will be held at the premises of Deutsche Messe AG Hannover.

OpenGnSys is a free/libre and open source tool for managing and deploying computers. Originally it developed to support classroom teaching. This project is carried out by the five aforementioned Spanish Public Universities, making it available from other educational institutions.
